Stock Rat w/power jack and no battery clip ?

  I have a large Rat here, thinner type metal case.
  The battery clip was hanging out of a rubber grommeted hole in the back where the jacks are.
  Bill wants the battery clip inside the box...
  So I put it inside the box and make a battery clip to hold the battery the only place where there's not actually room for it...between the edge of the PCB and the side of the box.
  There's room for the battery and the 'cup' I made, but the 'lid' [which is 3 sides of the box] has 3/8'' lip and so the battery holder would prevent the lid from being used...
  I think the battery clip must have been after market, I'd like the battery holder to be on the same frame as the battery clip/PCB and everything...
  Wonder if there's any suggestions how to mount a battery in a Rat like this, guessing it'll have to have a battery holder mounted to the 'lid' which would otherwise have no wires attached...
