I'm working on a GGG Tube Screamer and it calls for two .22uf caps. I have one .22uf film cap and one .22uf tantalum cap. Can I just use these? Your help is appreciated.

better use film caps...
tantalums don't have the best reputation and you'll have to get the positive and negative right.
but in theory it should work.

Actually the tonepad schem calls for the .22 caps to be tants.  The neg leads faces towards ground.  I used poly films on mine and it sounds nice.  I don't think you'll have a problem using either one of them.

thanks for the help
