 hi
i have made a few fuzzes now. and really like adding Jack Ormans stupidly wonderful tone control http://www.muzique.com/lab/swtc.htm.
but find it lowers the signal of the fuzz, so when bypassed the clean is louder the the fuzz.
is there a way to boost the signal so it is a bit louder when the fuzz is on?

i put the tone control circuit after the fuzz.
thanks for any help

Check out the this Little Big Muff schematic: http://www.montagar.com/~patj/lbgmuff.gif

You could add the little boost circuit which starts after the tone switch - from the 0.1 cap onwards - it's very similar to the LPB-1: http://www.montagar.com/~patj/ehbsters.gif - you could even add one of them!

I did that - used the LPB-1.  I run the FF wide open (no volume) and have the volume on the LPB as the 'master'...works pretty well!   Might need 'tweeking' but should work fine!

ill try it out on the  bazz fuss( christian) from homewrecker it has a 100 k pot at the end for the volume, if i use the lpb as the master i guess i just replace that pot with a 100k  resistor

ok so i did it . works great . i used the section of the little big muff that frequencycentral put a link too, thanks heaps :icon_wink:.

i just worked with what i had at home so i had to use different value resistors and tranny . but worked well.
i put it after the volume of my fuzz and emitted the vol from the boost circuit .
anyway thanks guys for your help. love this site
