Hi Everybody,

This is my first post and I am debugging my first build, a Trotsky.  I am having a similar problem as the OP.  I get signal through the pedal while in bypass, and when switched on, my LED lights up, and I get signal through, but it has no fuzz and is significantly attenuated.  I do get the scratchy gain pot from the tranny, so I believe that the signal is getting all the way through the circuit.

I thought the original schematic was a little weird, so I have just tried to reason through it.  I think the board is correct, but I'm a little confused with the box wiring.  My LED is wired in series from the 9v source to the gain pot and then connects with the collector of the tranny.   My input goes into the .047 cap then to the base of the tranny, output from the .1 cap to the volume pot then to the output jack, and I have a 3 way switch from the .1 cap that has some different diode combinations to ground.

Does any of this seem ridiculous?
