i have searched mouser...where do you get blank 19" racks???

Just looking for an empty, blank 19" rack unit...either 1 or 2 units tall.

i must not know the technical term, all i can find is the actual "racks" themselves

what you are looking for are referred to as 'blanking panels', at Mouser I found them searching for 'rack panel 1u'

  I am going to use used rack power strips. Some of them are deep enough for most of the circuits I build and people are giving them away on ebay. You need to clean the face place up a bit but you cant beat the price.
Class A booster , Dod 250 , Jfet booster, Optical Tremolo, Little Gem 2,  mosfet boost, Super fuzz , ESP stand alone spring reverb red Llama omni-drive , splitter blender ,

NEVER use gorilla glue for guitar repairs! It's Titebond , Elmers, or Superglue
