Cmos Foxx Tone Machine workalike.

Hi folks,


So, I drew up a 4049 workalike of the Foxx Tone machine.

It's not really a "design". I will breadboard it this week and let you guys know how it turns out.





Suggestions welcome.

Neat idea!
What would you say are the benefits of the 4049 other than consistency
with gain over transistors and consolidation due to the small size?
Not to criticize, I'm just curious.

I don't see how you possibly could go wrong with it... I've been fooling around with 4049-ifying older circuits
and it allways work, one way or the other.

This is my only entry in the FX/X. It's still breadboarded...
The octave part being snatched from the tone machine.

I'm waiting for the PCB...the CMOS Big Muff version had too much hiss for my taste

For one of the monthly competitions I posted a simple CMOS design that gives an octave up effect (based around a quirky rectifier).  Should be in the archives somewhere.
