After seeing those simple additions to a plugboard (or breadboard) that P. Marossy, R.G. and Alex made:

Paul's versatile one (DIYguitarist)

and R.G.'s elegant one:

Alex's ecological one:

I toughed it was kinda stupid not to do so: debugging is always hard work and very frustrating when the failure comes from that connector that disconnected itself by pulling it by the guitar cord or ... or ... or ... ;

So here is my attempt at "cloning" this irresistible and simple idea :

P.S.: I must add a "Boss type" walwart plug and some holes for LEDs.

Do you guys use something like this (?),
or have ideas about adding: connectors, battery holders and etc...

Yours F.H.P.

I need to use my prototyping board more.  :icon_redface:

Well it's normal in that case :

I should have I guess, somehow, I've always found a way around it.

Here's mine:

The box with sockets, stompswitch etc makes prototyping lots easier.

The two small circuits are a floating earth vref and a LM317 variable voltage supply - I'm playing about with submini tubes at the moment. they want 6.3 volts for the heaters.

Just came across this thread.  Some of those very pots arrived in the mail this week from SmallBear.

I like the use of the terminal strip! Smart!
"I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you."

JFX09

The terminal strip idea was robbed from Dano, it sparked the same sentiment when I saw how he used it (the Volt meter too, but then, i'm a sucker for everything meter...)

Rick, you shouldn't be jealous, your builds are top notch mate. Do you see those THD boards in the foreground ?

Frank: Well, If i'm going to sweat over it, might as well be pretty
