Simple question, battery

If I have two small circuits that take 9 volts, can I simply split the lead from the battery into two and send one to each circuit? Setting it up like that would still give 9 volts to each, right?

Very simple question, but it's been bothering me lately.

if im understanding correctly, yes you can. just connect the lead of battery to one circuit, and then an extra wire to the other circuit, and should work.
ahh, and dont forget the ground wiring
