I bought a 1509a enclusre by mistake. I go the right box for the project I was working on so it is left over. What project can I fit into this box. I would like a single know and a stompswitch and an LED ( I love LEDs  :icon_biggrin:). Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Take care,

I know you only want one knob, but you can get reasonable sized circuits in them if you want to, I built Mark Hammer's Crank into one.

The enclosure is actually a 27969P but it's the same size as a 1590A. If I can find some small enough pots I'm going to try a Tube Screamer or a DS1 next.

I like knobs too. That looks like a great build. I would like to try something else besides a booster.

What about a tremolo effect, You could easily make a tremolo with a 1 transitor buffer stage with a fet on the input to ground controlled with a 555 timer to turn on/off the fet. The 555 timer is wired as an astable thus putting a triangular wave on the gate of the fet. very simple to make with 1 pot to control the frequency of the timer (speed of tremolo) . i will see if i can sort a shematic if this inerests you.

Do you have the schematic and layout for the crank. I might give that a go.

I've built a Red Llama in one. Used Madbean's layout.

I did a strat-o-blaster in one a while back.  Tight fit, but worth it!

Also did a fuzz from fuzzboxworld that would fit nicely.

When your life is over, will any of this STUFF really matter?

The schematic is here http://hammer.ampage.org/files/The_Crank.gif
I'll draw up the layout I did, probably won't be until next week though.

Pics!

I could have made more room for the board by putting the dc jack under the output jack...but I already drilled the hole when I realized this.

What size pots did you use for this one?
