Has anyone used this in the Rebote 2.5?

Looking at the datasheets it is pin to pin the same as the PT2399, looking at the schem some part values will need changing.

Is there a chance this IC could work without the distortion on the delays which you get from the 2399 ... or am I barking up the wrong Bush?

I've just downloaded the sheets and I like how much more info the Holtek gives, though it doesn't draw out any applications, but I'll look into it at least as much as I can with my limited knowledge. I suppose it's a matter of trying one out and seeing what happens! Thanks for searching that out... I wonder how much they are and who has them... the Holtek stuff.

I searched the obvious places and found it at smallbear (actually they have several Holtek devices), a dollar more than the 2399 though. I've ordered some and will give them a whirl and see/hear what happens.

Thanks for the reply Sean

It will work fine, but you'll have a lot less delay time available... so no gain there

Yes, and more THD..  so my guess on longer delays it will have more distortion than the 2399
