Would it bother you if delivery confirmation was required in shipping within the US?

I want delivery confirmation. I will pay for it.

no, I don't want to pay for it.

It's not needed, it's fine the way it is as an option.

I have since found out that delivery confirmation is more useful now. The post office does seem to be able to track packages at each point - even if they don't show it on the website.
The question is, would you pay for this?

This is sort of related. I've had problems in the past with mail and packages delivered to the wrong address even though the proper delivery information was on the package. As I understand it the delivery confirmation is but a barcode that is scanned at the time of delivery, it does not indicate where the package ,barcode, was scanned, delivered. Please correct me if this is wrong. I would be willing to pay for Delivery Confirmation if it assured where the package was delivered. I have filed complaints to the Postmaster concerning this problem only to have it rectified temporarily and returning again.

Aron, how much would this cost? It's good the way it is right now, I think.  :)

I think it's around 65 cents or so. Anyway, it's option in the store that can be added.
