Hey everyone, this is my first layout attempt, and I would love to have some verification. I don't have the parts on hand to build it, so if anyone else is interested, this is the updated version of the Experimentalists Anonymous Parallel Universe. To my knowledge there are no layouts for it currently out there, so I figured I'd be ambitious and give it a try.

I fixed several mistakes before posting, but as far as I can tell, everything connects where it's supposed to.

The schematic I used is here: http://experimentalistsanonymous.com/diy/Schematics/Fuzz%20and%20Fuzzy%20Noisemakers/Parallel%20Universe%20Schematic.gif

The only thing I wasn't sure about on the schem is where that lug on the Freq pot goes--it's not connected to anything on the schem, so I assumed it was just missing a GND symbol.

Feel free to hit me up with feedback on this, especially in terms of things like part spacing and low-noise trace routing--I'm assuming that's where any shortcomings will really come into play on this build.

Thanks,

-Josh

Ahh...I missed putting the ICs in the parts list. For reference, U1 is a 386 and U2 is a TL072.

great josh, thanks! I was looking at this a while ago.
I'll have a go at it tomorrow and report back.

josh, I only see 16 resistors on the vero and 24 listed in the parts list.
also there's 10 caps on the vero and 8 in the parts list  ???

Honestly, I couldn't tell you why that is, except that I've never gotten DIYLC to export a decent file. I think I had to go back over it and try to re-do the parts list on a slow day at work. It might be better to go back to the drawing board on this one...

Really? I suppose there are some similarities...but that's a bit of a stretch.

The schematic reminds me of this:

I was referring to the convoluted layouts of the schematics.

lol I gotcha :) It was pretty hard to follow--this was probably a mistake to try my hand at vero-ing.

That day at work was REALLY slow...
