ok I bought these lil copper pads for like 1.50 at walmart and thought I would share this. Not only is it useful to keep your solder tip clean but also to make jumpers and fix pcb traces. There are 3 of them in a pack it's small copper coated strips woven together so  when one of them unraveled I saw it and thought I wonder if this would work for fixing pcb traces? It works like a charm. Very flexible and a solid flat wire very easy to bend in all forms of trace shapes and good size for even small board fixes. It's also great for wrapping around component leads for jumpers on the top of boards  just cut tin both sides and solder tell me on the last pic which is the fixed trace?

Ingenious little tip!  What do you use to stick the pad strand to the PCB... Super Glue?
