Guv'nor vs Crunch Box

I've read a lot that says the MI Audio Crunch Box is very similar to the Marshall Guv'nor. Has anyone come across a schematic for the Crunch Box? I'm becoming more of a DIYer and I wanna know if I can get the Guv'nor kit from GGG and mod it to be similar to the Crunch Box, or see if I even want to mod it at all and just be happy with the Guv'nor alone. Any input, thoughts?

If you want a crunch box schematic do a Google image search for crunchbox schematic, it should be on the first page somewhere.

The main difference is the tone control is much simpler on the crunch box. The other important difference is that the Crunch box has much more gain that the Guvnor. If you change C1,R1,R6 and C8 on the Guvnor schematic at GGG to the values used on the Crunch Box that will give you the same gain.

I would build the guvnor first and see if you like it.
