I just built EA Tremolo (http://www.runoffgroove.com/eatremolo.html) and got it working fine. However, when I power it with a switched mode power supply (http://img67.imageshack.us/img67/1499/spmssa5.png), it makes loud oscillating noise (http://koti.mbnet.fi/simopot/temp/tremolo.mp3 - first speed knob at min, then max). When powered with a 9V battery or a regular "brick-sized" power supply there's no noise at all.

I've heard that the more expensive SPMS's such as Visual Sound 1Spot are less likely to cause such noise. Could someone with EA Tremolo and a SPMS check if there's similar noise as in that sound clip. Thanks. If you don't know whether your power supply is SPMS or not, you can tell it from its size. SPMS is about the size of your two fingers - a regular power adapter is about the size of your fist (that's the reason I'd like to use SPMS instead).
