Tremolo Speed Knob Mod

I  have a Voodoo trem pedal and would like to know if there is a mod for a different speed adjustment anywhere. It's very difficult to get a desired rate (speed) if the knob is past 1 o'clock - the rate of change becomes too radical, so you have to very carefully and slowly adjust the knob. It would be helpful if a smaller change could be adjusted by a larger turn of the knob. Don't know if this is too confusing, but I'm certain a few of you know exactly what I'm talking about.
