Alex started this thread in 2009, I came across it in 2014, built it, thought nah.. and consigned it to the 'nice try' bin.

Just resurrected it, fixed the stupid mistake I'd made with a cap value, removed any component sockets and soldered everything in properly. Result is pretty spectacular. It sounds really, really good and noise floor is very low now the sockets have gone. The layout link still works so if you've got an OC140 going spare...

Alex appears to have gone quiet on here in recent years but, just in case, thanks mate
