Payback build questions

Hello- new to list here...I've really appreciated the resources here. My completed projects so far are the Maestro Ring Modulator, some tonepad Dan Armstrong Clones, and 4ms Noise Swash, Atari Punk Console, and more...Info about my music: http://www.community-library.net/strategyhome.htm

I etched my own PCBs recently and made some of Michael Allen's Payback boards, found in this forum:

I have a number of questions:

- Are the pots lin or log?
- Is this board meant to have some components underneath the chips? I just want to make sure I'm reading it correctly...
- Would any builders who have completed this project be willing to share photos of their build- particularly wiring?

- maybe the IC is on the solder side? But where is pin 1?

- Do you have a schematic for this one?

- Which pot is 10k, which is 100k?

-Do you have a wiring diagram for the pots and switches? - I can´t find this project on his site at all??? Just found the pcb in his photobucket album ("soma_hero")

...and: Have you tried to contact M. Allen? There´s an e-mail adress on his side.

There is no wiring diagram for this and the Michael Allen layout is still not verified that I'm aware of.

Tone and Vib Depth are both 10k.

I did try to contact M. Allen, no reply!

There is no wiring diagram posted for this project.

There is a confirmed Vero layout I could try, but since I etched this board I think I will try it and see what the problems are. If I can make it successful, I can post revisions and a wiring diagram to this thread.
