 any ideas on how to make the sustain curcuit of the BM into a stand alone effect?
I forgot what I was gonna say here.

its does not really act as a "sustain" knob if youre in the context of the traditional meaning of the word.
but rather its a gain control... more gain, more clipping, moar sustain... its a distortion circuit.
Look at it this way- everyone rags on air guitar here because everyone can play guitar.  If we were on a lawn mower forum, air guitar would be okay and they would ridicule air mowing.
