Hey there I need to replace two blown transistors in my Harman kardon stereo amp (solid state).  2sd667a and a 2sb647a. Not easy to find. (also got to work out what happened....). Data sheets say they are general purpose. Any thoughts on possible easy to find equivalents? eg 2n or bc (both are used as voltage regulators). Thanks

The TIP29C is a suitable replacement for the 2SD667A and the TIP30C would work well for the 2SB647A.  Both are available from Mouser for under $0.50

Thanks, though these may be tricky as the packaging of the originals are TO-92
