Hi guys,

I didn't find a veroboard for this circuit, so I made one.

no verified at this moment, so if you see some issues , let me know.

( I find great help and informations here,  so, even if it's a little thing, I share it, maybe someone will be interested by that stuff )

The French connection

Just a kick look and you can save two strip, J and C for instance...and two rows by moving fuzz3 to the end of the board and row 12. There's no NPN on the schem...i did'nt check the connection for the moment. Where's the 22µF from 9V+ to ground?

I know, but the pedal i built does not boost...it just increases volume!

Hi,

Yes, I forget the 22uF for power decoupling. I'll put it directely on DC jack I think.

Actaully, saving strips isn't important, that will be put in a BB hammond box . I don't really like tight veroboard, I prefer when there's some space between components.

Anyway, I cheked and recheked my veroboard I think it's good so I started to build it.

Actually, I didn't pay attention to the pinouts .

Also, I saw some people add a trimmer in the circuit but I didn't find out where this trimmer takes place.

What Ge transistor choice ? what Hfe per transistor?

I read on "fuzzcentral" I can change Q1 et Q2 for regular PNP silicon transistor . The really fuzzing sound comes from Q3 which must be a Ge transistor.
