I left out the tonestack too and replaced it with the WSTC but had to reduce the volume quite it bit .

couple of questions for ya. did the wstc work well for this pedal? how did you reduce the volume? and finally what is the "fine" control on yours. thanks.

Well I just dropped the whole tonestack , put in the WSTC (LOOK UP THE INFO). It sounds quite good to me  and I brought the volume down to 10 K and put 2 K pot in series with it ( the fine tuning !) just to get more grip on the volume. And I believe the voltage divider is 1K and 100 ohm ( to ground) . http://www.raltron.com/cust/tools/voltage_divider.asp

I can only assume that you mean the SWTC (Stupidly Wonderful Tone Control) from Mark.

Am I correct? Also, what values did you use for the caps, resistor, and pot?

Thanks  ;D

This is what I did , (I think) .  I left out Q5 and put a 330 n cap after Q4. As you see I also substituted a few other caps for more low end.
