I wanted to install a GGG IC Buffer into the battery compartment of a TU-2 to drive my pedal board. Would this work? Would the Boss buffer interfere?

...why?

Boss buffers are about the best thing I've seen commercially. How would the IC buffer improve it?

Er...no. What are you wanting this "line driver" to do that the Boss buffer doesn't?

A Line Driver is actually an amplifier, in telecoms they are used to boost the signal before it travels through enormous lengths of cable so that it is still strong at the other end. I suspect your amp isn't several miles away from your guitar and you just want something with high input impedance and low output impedance that won't drastically alter your guitar tone, in which case your TU-2 already does a great job.
