Problem with Blend on Orange Squeeze. Mini Blender.

I have an Orange Squeeze that I put the Mini Blender in. Its seems to add noise and it also attaches directly to the input jack which affects the bypass... Is there a better way to do the blend that's fairly easy? Any layouts?
