Hello everyone!

Me and my brother wants to make a easy pedal! Maybe a distortion, doesn't real matter. My brother can solder and I'm gonna try to solder. We live in Finland and we are a bit unsure where to buy parts, but we know a guy who knows a little about pedal and he said he knew where to buy them! But I really mean a easy one!

Thank you.

Please understand if there was any grammar faults, English isn't our first language ;)

The easiest pedal I've done has got to be the Fuzz Face. It only has two transistors and a few extra parts and you can breadboard one in about 5 minutes. Here's a schemo and breadboard layout: http://www.beavisaudio.com/bboard/projects/bbp_FuzzFace_Rev1_1.pdf

You can use any NPN transistors you'd like. They will sound different but all will sound good.

I'd suggest the beginner project. The NPN boost. It's a useful pedal, and has a very low parts count. You can also build on that and try some mods like clipping diodea' etc. Once you have a successful build.

Welcome to your new addiction : )

Both of those suggestions above are good.  A medium gain distortion you can easily build is the Electra:

Easy pedal? = Easy Drive

Just one option that you may want to explore.

Again build the Metal Simplex and get the most from a simple circuit.
