A friend of mine has a behringer fcb1010 midi controller in which the power transformer has died. These are the specs:

Power Transformer
Model: ED 21917
Pri.:115V~60Hz (Blk/Blue)
Sec.:10V~0.3A(Yel./Yel.)
For 965-10893-17691
Made in China

That is everything letter for letter that it says on top of the transformer.

The thing measures are as follows: 1-5/8" long x 1-1/4" (At the buldge of the wires coming out the sides.) x 1-5/16" tall.

Can anyone give me a link to a perfect replacement. I've been to mouser and i think i've found a hammond that is suitable, but mouser overwhelms me sometimes with their sheer volume of stuff...

Thanks!!

Have you contacted Behringer?

Always the best place to start.  Also, is it still under warranty?

He has  a email to behringer that is yet to be responded to. It's not under warranty.

Sounds like you are on the right track.

The sea of transformers online is much more overwhelming. I've done the Mouser swim many times and its probably the best place to find a replacement. Just make sure you reference the datasheet to the orderable part number. I've been misled before by the Mouser description.
