1A44P
I found a bag of those in my drawer.  They are plastic cased NPN.   Does anybody have datasheet or catalog datas for those.  They are leaking as hell.  Can they be germanium or silicon transistors ?  Can a silicon transistor can leak 600uA ?

These must be relatively old devices...

Are you sure you have the part No. right?  Datasheetarchive.com shows no hits for '1A44P' and some hits for '1A44P__' etc, but all those hits are for laser diodes or something.

Well, it's written on the cardboard under the plastic blister: Texas-Inst-No-1A44P NPN General purpose

And on the TO plastic casing:   1A44P

I am just a bit confused: never saw some silicon transistors having so much leakage.
It's a bit ridiculous, they leak way more than they amplify.
