Where are those SS 'fix' resistors...there's a page sometwhere describes how on the Small Stone board, the volume drop amount can be worked with.
The ones that bring it to near unity or make it self oscillate ?

    Options for consideration:
1 stick another boost after teh LPB,
*2 Stick another boost before the SS, such as a compressor
3 Fix the Small Stone drop proportion, enough so that with LPB recovery, output ='s unity.
4 Choose a different boost for the SS output that'll go past unity.
  After Consideration of the options:
1. last resort
2. I might kinda like this one...but kind big and might be 1 knob too knobby for the box I have, which is affording 1 extra knob for SS.
3. perhaps this is the preferred and most difficult way, I might do better than the last time I tried getting it up around near 0.0 boost/drop.
4 This and #1 have been voted most likely to make background noise.

LPB, trimpot for volume control> Small Stone > LPB.w/panel volume.
  Whole shootin' match @12v.
I set the post boost at 10, adjusted the preboost to a little above unity.
All fit into the box [wood cased harddrive box], and onto the pedalboard.
Beautiful tones this one has it.
