I've been searching through alot of threads regarding adding a clean blend to a BMP for bass. Can anyone speak to the functional difference between the buff n blend, bblender, and miniblender? I've seen many threads about these, but couldn't determine what sets them apart from each other. Thank you!

Well, I used this layout (blendimum),

which is just one of Jack's basic buffers

in parallel with the effect. I used it with a modified tube reamer from ROG (added bass and less gain in the second opamp stage) to make a bass overdrive sort of thing. The problem was that the clean (buffered) signal was slightly less then unity gain. So then I just stuck a booster after it (I used a SHO). It actually sounds great now that it's all done. Exactly what I was looking for with my bass. Well, maybe it could use a little treble boost... Anywho, if I were to do it again, I might just put the SHO (or any other booster) in parallel with the circuit (muff/overdrive/whatever) instead of the buffer/blendimum. In fact, I might just do that with a woolly mammoth work alike I got sitting around here. Blenders are perfect for bass.
