Mod my Crybaby to a Maestro Boomerang Wah for bass?

Here's the story:
I'm a bass player and yesterday I got a very cheap Crybaby off of craigslist.

Then, today, I was perusing the interwebs for ideas on modding it and found a deal on byoc for a yellow fasel + Maestro Boomerang Wah clone pcb.

I've I'm going to put the effort into modding the crybaby for bass, it would be just as easy to drop in the Maestro board. BUT, if I go through the trouble of switching out the guts, I probably am not going to want to go back.

Any thoughts on this? Anyone here ever played bass through a Maestro?

The cap labeled 'Cf' is the difference between the normal Crybaby and the Bass Crybaby.  What I'd do is build the standard Boomer, then temporarily rig a multi position switch with a bunch of different cap values between .01u and .068u.  Then figure out what sounds best and wire it into the circuit.
