For transformer orientation?
I'm building a Jawari, I'll sstart with the primary facing in, secondary toward diodes and see if that works...
Is there something I should be looking for like the diodes side goes toward the output with the center lead of the secondary going to ground?

The transformer will work sufficiently well in either direction, given that it's a 1:1 impedance ratio. Still, I usually orient it such that the primary side is the JFET side, and the secondary side is the diode side.

But it's a Ring Mod...pretty good one too...big volume drop [I put booster there] ... real nice singer, gets a 'folded' harmonic ring [~octave], a little nasty on the low notes, real clear on the high ones...great for fast slicey riff's/wailing sustains...interesting and not like the sound clips...
And now for the phrase we now know is utterly meaningless: 'It Looks Right!!!"
