well the title says it all..

I do like hammond boxes.. they're easy to drill, pretty affordable and last a long time (when built properly) but id like to think about alternative enclosures.
so please.. post some ideas / photos / links / experiences and im probably not the only one happy with the results (yes ive used the search option) ;)

what ive seen so far:

- ashtrays
- cookie jars
- cans (altoids and such)
- old metal toys (cars moving puppets robots etc)
- sigar boxes (wood alu)
- bottles
- medicin enclosures
- old computer stuff
- joysticks
