i just dug out an old mxr phase 45 pcb i built ages ago...but it never worked...i changed the trannies and yay! it works..sounds really sweet....

so it deserves a sweet box too...

its going to have an orange 'sun' led as the rate in the middle of the sun...and an on/off led too....

i looked for chrome chicken head knob, but they are too pricey..shame it would look nice on it...

cheers tasos, but ive seen proper metal chrome looking ones...they are nice...really classy looking.

I ordered a few things from them recently, be sure to consider their photo resist PCB stock at 2 euro for 100*160 mm, and Hammond 125A's at 18 euro :-)

I think the black chicken head is very tasty. A chrome knob might be overkill, but eh - to each his own  :)

deadastronaut, that's one hot phaser you've got there. Glad you put a large gold LED. For me, pictures never do justice to the actual subject, but I'm sure that it looks hyper-awesome in person.

You should try the chrome knob, though. If it's a good one, I think it's gonna look better - you know, just the Sun in the middle of a grey sky...

A Tremor In The Force - Tap Tempo Tremolo



Crap quality photo but I'm really pleased with the etch itself. Went really well. Used a much more concentrated etchant than usual after reading that insanekane uses a concentrated etchant and I LOVE his etches.
