I'm building Magnus Moduluses for my girlfriend and myself. For mine I'm pondering adding CV input. I saw brief mention of this in the original Magnus Modulus thread.

Did anyone try it/succeed?

I am a little bit mod shy and haven't tried the CV input vactrol trick yet. Still haven't found a satisfyingly complete set of recommendations/instructions/schematics for such mods, yet.

Any help greatly appreciated!

I wanted delay time to be externally controllable.

I stopped pursuing this because Magnus Modulus kept failing - have fixed it several times, and always more failures. Focused now on other delay circuits.

Separately I did learn how to apply voltage controlled resistance in parallel with a pot control - using an opto part like vactrol. it works best on controls within a certain range of resistance (>100k or so). The Macron clones of vactrols, which small bear sells, work well for this by the way. I have applied this to several pedal projects, including delays (incl. a 1990s stock Deluxe Memory Man I modded), flanger, phase shifter, fuzz, etc. here's a graphic I drew for someone showing one way to wire an external cv control. Note that you have to tweek it to work with  your project, and

EDIT: *I JUST NOTICED AN ERROR WITH THIS DRAWING*, on the LDR side of the opto the legs should be reversed from what is shown, I think.
