I have the schematic and parts list from tonepad for the Boss CE-2 chorus.  I also have the vero layout from:

http://www.aronnelson.com/gallery/main.php/v/cathexis/Veroboard+Layouts/CE-2+Chorus/CE-2+Chorus.jpg.html

There is a resistor, on both, that goes from input to ground that is only labeled "R", and there is not a resistor on the parts list that is just labeled "R".  Can anybody tell me what the value of that resistor should be?  Also, has anyone completed a build from the vero layout above?  Thanks for any and all help!

Use 1M or something close.
It's a pulldown resistor that the original did not have.
It prevents pops which switching it on and off.
