So I have a populated crybaby board I just wanted to put in a box as a 'parked' wah. This is how I wired it-http://www.wah-wah.co.uk/effects/tb4a.png
I didn't take this out of a wah myself so I don't have the original pot. I tried using a standard 100k linear. I get sound bypassed but not engaged. I thought that this pot should work just maybe not as well as a wah pot but could it be my problem?

I did some poking around with my dmm but I still need some help with the interpretation. I removed the buffer portion of the circuit (just fyi). I have another crybaby to compare the readings to but I'm still not sure what they mean. I get a normal reading on the collector of Q2 (the second from the left on the bottom)http://www.wah-wah.co.uk/effects/gcb95top.jpgBut at the base I should be getting about 3 ( I get a about 1 and it quickly drops to .03) the emitter should read 3.65 (it starts there but rapidly drops to zero.

So could that be the transistor or a surrounding faulty resistor or could that be a grounding issue? I'm still trying to learn how to use my dmm, please point me in the right direction! :icon_confused:
