Switch wiring for no 9V clip, just DC jack

Hi, this may sound dumb, but I intend to build 3 devices (input - compressor - OD - Fuzz - output) in one box, with a single 9v supply (no batteries) powering them all. Assuming this would be ok, would I just omit the battery clip between the input jack ring and +ve rail on the PCB?

I would see what the current draw is for each unit and make sure the power supply can easily handle the total..

Thanks for your help

Yes.

You can use two mono jacks instead of one mono one stereo if you prefer.

  DMM here 'n there +/- go...where [ok?
And there is no continuity between +/- ?
One of the two, + Or - [the correct one for the polarity used] does and the other doesn't connect to ground.
In both jack conditions [plug in / no plug].
Then the circuit / power supply conditions are probably be ok, worth a check.
