No working Whammy Wah XP100 any thoughts?

Hi eveyone.
I recently bought a whammy wah XP 100, BAD LUCK. the unit is in a really bad cond.  it turns ON but no sound comes from it. i checked connections with my multimetera and everything seems fine. THING IS THAT PROBABLY is a short in there. but im stuck here. dont know what to do. i have no output response i also tryed with a planet waves cable tester and same thing. SHORT LED blinks with the outputs.. what can i do for bringing this unit to life... i was googleing for the entire last week but no schematics out there. if you have some please share it with me. or tell me what can i change on the unit.

First check the power supply voltages at the three regulators.  If those are good, trace the audio through the analog signal path from the in to the out (there is electronic switching, but the bypass signal is analog all the way through), and see how far it gets.  Divide and Conquer.
