Hi everyone. I'm Cam and I'm a pedal fanatic. Recently I decided I want to build some of my own boxes so I bought a couple of boost kits from another site. Both builds went well, but both produce static when the pot is turned. I am not sure how to remedy this. Is it a grounding issue? I have checked and re-checked all of my solder joints .... ???

I'd appreciate any help or advice you might have for me.

Thanks

If the boost is a clone of the Zvex Super Hard-On, then the knob on the official pedal is labelled "Crackle OK"!  ;)

Sounds like DC on the pot as in that ^^^design, if you post the schems someone will tell you if it's inherent in the design or if it's more likely to be a mistake you made. Try to include a drawing of all offboard wiring. Good luck

A small (10-50pf) cap across the the boost pot might clear it up.
