How to wire without battery

Hey everyone.  I'm building the distortion plus pedal from general guitar gadgets and I do not want to use a battery, only a dc jack.  How would I wire this pedal without a battery snap.  Thanks.

What sort of jack?

Same as with a battery, just leave out the battery snap. One benefit is that you'll be able to use a Mono jack for an input jack if you'd like.

So looking at the parts layout, I would simply not connect the ground to the input jack and not connect the red battery snap wire to the dc jack, but leave everything else the same, right?  Thanks.
