After a year or so of failing miserably at pedal building for one reason or another, I finally got my bazz fuss circuit to work!  Only problem is after I got it all put into an enclosure, it's dead!  LED DOES come on when the switch is pushed, but I don't get audio whether the pedal is engaged or not - my question is, could I have wired the switch incorrectly (upside down)?

CynicalMan

It could be a lot of things.

Boy you are cynical... ;)

Yes, it's possible you wired the switch incorrectly. Generally, wiring accounts for many of the reasons pedals give you no sound. Take a look at the threads above, and then get back to us with more details.

In the meantime, check these things: Are you parts correct? Are they turned the right way around? Triple check your wiring. Use your DMM to make sure your switch is not faulty.

Those are good starting places. Hopefully we'll get you running soon.

first , have a cup of tea!..or beer!....
you should checkout the links above ..there is a whole world of info on everything to do with pedal problems and cures ok.
anyway....

your bass fuzz worked ok, before you boxed it, so thats a good sign!.. :)
if your led goes on/off you got some part right ok.... :)
sounds like your in/outs.... :(
try wiring your switch the same as this, happy fuzzing.......... :icon_mrgreen:

One common problem that happens once you put it into a box, is that one of the jacks has a lug touching the box, grounding the signal.

yep true. or tip of jack could be touching inside box when you plug it in...turn your sockets maybe..
