Thanks to the folks in this forum who talked up the Irwin Unibit for making holes in boxes.

I just made my first hole with my new one and oh MAN I wish that I had had one of these a couple of months ago.

Mine does holes from 1/8" to 1/2", so it'll do all I need, from LED's to pots, jacks, and switches.

Cost about $16 at Home Despot. Harbor Freight has their own house brand, but they were out of them when I went there.

These things are the ANSWER for making holes. I have a nice floor standing drill press, coated bits, etc., and what I did with this thing and a cordless hand drill puts that rig in the ditch.
