I built this for total of 8$ and parts laying at home.

Still don't know the good way to make labels.

That looks awesome!
What is that pedal on the background with the led display?

Manny

Very nice indeed.  :)
I think i'm going to put one of these together soon. Did you try both single and double versions or did you go straight for the double?

That is my homemade FV1 multiefect. The display shows which program is engaged. Awesome pedal.

I went straight for the double. But I put in the switch to choose only one tube or both.

Here are some sound clips.
tube valvecatser  c.mp3

0 - 0:30 - 1 tube
0:40 - 0:58 1 tube crunch
0:58-1:35 2 tubes overdrive on minima gain
1.38 --> high gain, but some strange compression occurs so it sound crappy. But i don't play at such high gain.

clips dont work?...no access...

Nice, dude. If you read this: http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=60421.0  it tells you where you can upload clips on Aron's site.
Big Muff, Trotsky Drive, Little Angel, Valvecaster, Whisker Biscuit, Smash Drive, Green Ringer, Fuzz Face, Rangemaster, LPB1, Bazz Fuss/Buzz Box, Radioshack Fuzz, Blue Box, Fuzzrite, Tonepad Wah, EH Pulsar, NPN Tonebender, Torn's Peaker...

Excuse my playing. I am still a beginner.

Sounds good, It may need some debugging to get both tubes working at higher gain, I know quite a few people have had trouble with this.
I like the sound of both tubes at low gain though  :)

How did the tube glow white like a LED ? O_o

It actually is a led....
If you buy a 9pin tube socket pretty much everyone of them has a hole in the middle that is not used for our projects-tubes....
So you just stick a led in there and there you have it! ;D

Yep , i got it , i should get a cheap arc rect tube ( is there any tube cheaper then a 12AX7 but around the size ? ) and then stick a blue/white led  :icon_mrgreen:
MOJO FACTOR .
I must mention to get the 12AX7/EL34 or any triode/pentode tube filament glow , one should try 3mm orange's and red's .

Put out an request for broken 12AX7s on the Buy/Sell forum. You could even offer $2 to sweeten the deal, still cheap enough.
