Hey guys n gals!  Some of you may remember me from  here. http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=89275.0
Well, turns out the 4558 was bad.  (I probably cooked it with the original 16V i started with.)  Anyway, just so happens that RadioShack sells the Texas instruments TL082 dual OP-amp, which is a comparable replacement.  Popped in and picked up a couple, popped one in the socket, and BAMM!! She's a fire breather!  ;D  Here's a pic since I thought I'd try my hand at swirling...
