Hey all... just asking for a bit of advice, other than "buy a new one".

So, I have an STAudio DSP2000. Something happenned during effect loop and now I am missing channels 1 and 2 all around. I basically can plug into the XLR's, or line in's on the breakout box, I get nothing. Line-in on the card, nothing. Headphones on the box and the card, nothing. BUT, I can still use all the other channels.

This thing uses TL082's for all analog in/outs. Chance I blew one of those, or one of the converters or something?

Audio probe time? Check to see if you hear any of your inputs coming out of the opamps?

I doubt that would be it, though. Opamps can take a lot.

I'll probe it when I get my stuff set back up... it's all SMD, so I'm crossing my fingers that it's an amp or something simple, and not one of the chips with 14+ pins. I've tracked down all the chips, all replaceable (with some vigilance, of course).

If I could figure out the signal routing, I'd have a place to start, but I can't figure out why it's blown in the card AND the box, unless the output of the card is jacked, then I'm probably "not so lucky, Pierre". I'm guessing something closer to the latter, since I get no sound from those channels that the AD converter went bye-bye.

Hey... I actually have a couple O-scopes! I don't know what I was thinking... I can actually see what I can't hear now. Guess I'll start probing around and see what I come up with.
