Modding the EHX Turnip Greens

Hello! I recently got an EHX Turnip Greens (basically a Holy Grail Max and a Soul Food glued together), but I'm pretty disappointed by the lack of a colour / tone knob. I've done motherboard level repairs before on arcade boards and game consoles at my old job, but I'm pretty new to the world of guitar pedal modding. Does anyone have any pointers for what I should do to implement such a knob, or at the very least get the reverb to sound a bit darker? Thanks in advance!

I believe the send/receive jacks are between the two effects?  If so, that will give you easy access to tack on a tone control after the reverb side.  Or you can tie into the reverb output at the order toggle switch.  Here are some good tone control designs that are easy to modify, there are many others:

(the volume pot would just be a fixed resistor tapped at the top for the output, same as a pot set for maximum volume.)
