Check out the youtube video of an original kay tremelo (and incidently kay fuzz - both in rocker-type pedals!), that thing is VERY different and gets pretty quick at the fast end of the scale. As Kay actually glued copies of the schematics to the inside of the enclosures you can be sure it is pretty authentic!

I'm currently in the (slow, damned family...) process of building the vero layout with the blend mod - I've got some nice subtle trem already, this is for CHOPPING appart the signal like being beaten about the ears rapidly and repeatedly - good stuff!

ooh checked em. Kay tremolo is exactly waht i've been looking for :) you know i have a Killpot (which is a killswitch in a pot) i can get that effect manually but sometimes straight chopped is fun as well

as for the fuzz that thing sounded loevly

I went with EA trem and then the Lune, both are very nice Lune does many tremelo types.
The Amp chips wire up about like an opamp effect if you have a Power Supply.
Starting with PCB and careful populating, a chip amp board is a fairly quick assembly, the PS and Chassis/layout/heatsink being lions share of build difficulty/expense.
Convention creates following, following creates convention.

mm i'll check the lune one. I know EA but for some reason i never breadboarded one... might want to

hmm so the amp would be expensive?

yea, it seems a little big, but i have no $ left to try and order a PCB, and have no idea on how to etch my own, so it seems the most logical for me.

vendettav

ahh if i have some time soon i'll probably amek a new vero layout. i trust veros more than the perfboards. and never realyl bothered to get into etching PCBs

yea, i used to perf board all kinds of stuff when i was making little radio transmittors and stuff (spy gadgets for the evil genius), but i am not too good at following complicated schematics that most stompboxes use.
