The hum is different according to what cable I use, but it doesn't appear in another room  :)

RFI/EMI is a cruel unforgiving opponent.  You have something that room that is radiating electromagnetic noise.  Get an outlet tester and make sure that your outlets are wired properly, hopefully you just have a bad ground that is easily repaired.

I think it's an environmental problem.

I bet if you got one of these low voltage detectors http://www.google.com/products/catalog?q=low+voltage+detector&hl=en&rls=com.microsoft:en-us:IE-SearchBox&prmd=ivns&resnum=1&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.&biw=1043&bih=651&wrapid=tlif130944519717810&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=shop&cid=15154432629424717026&sa=X&ei=T4wMTuOmK8Lk0QGNlbGyDg&ved=0CH0Q8wIwAQ#
it would be beeping like crazy anywhere you are in the room(s) where you have this problem.

Check out this video for how to use it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ZGokkrsO_Y

Has the ground on your amp been defeated or anything like that?
