Is this a good idea for a mod? TS 68k input resistor

There was never a 10k shunt resistor, I am fairly certain that shunt is indicative of a parallel load and if so 10k was never a candidate for the shunt resistor.  The stock series resistor was 10k though.  By my later calculations, that was rolling off some low end right at the input even with the 100nF cap, so a majority of the "mud" from switching to the 68k resistor just has to do with hearing the full audio band come through at the input.
