Wha DC operating points/bias design

After you pick the gain you want with R6 and the value of R3 you want select/adjust R9(maybe a 68K with a 50k linear pot in series for 68K to 118K bias control) value for the Q1 collector voltage and Q2 emitter voltage
Note the higher the hfe of Q2 the higher the emitter voltage

R9 is Bypassed at the frequencies the wha works at
R8 does not matter at DC because the DC resistance of the inductor is low

The right side notes are what is important.  Note how R9 adjusts the bias of both transistors.
I picked the transistors because the stock down load of LT spice has them and the hfes are different.

One can make R9 in the sim a variable resistor to bias up both transistors.
Note how the bias changes with the change of R9.

You don't need the complete wha circuit to model the DC part of the wha

So you basically pick your Q1s collector and emitter resistors then R3 then transistors you want.  Measure/adjust the voltages at Q1 collector and Q2 emitter by adjusting R9 value.  Think of R9 as the bias adjust.  One can also use R X C to size C1 to R9 selected value if that is a tuning point you like to adjust.
